Lau-Chakki Bhaja(Odiya Dish)

One more dish from Odissa…

Ingredients

1 medium lauki(lau) peeled n cut into thick slices

1 tbsp rice flour

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp red chili powder

1/2 tsp garam masala

2 tsp seasme seeds

2 green chilis chopped

salt to taste

oil for shallow frying the slices

chopped coriander leaves

Procedure

Paraboil the lauki slices.

Then add all spices n mix it properly.

Heat tawa n spread oil all over, shallow fry all the slices from both sides till golden color.

Serve hot with rice n rasam.
