Lemon Rice

Whenever u have leftover rice best option is to prepare lemon rice….u will get refreshing taste…


1 cup cooked rice

3-4 cashew nuts broken into pieces

10-12 peanuts

1 tsp chana dal

1 tsp mustard seeds

1/2 tsp udad dal

1 red chili whole

2 green chili slitted

6-8 curry leaves

1 tsp oil

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

2 tsp lemon juice

salt to taste

chopped coriander leaves for garnishing


Heat oil n add mustard seeds,udad dal n red chili whole.

When mustard seeds start crackle add peanuts,cashew nuts n chana dal.

When these turns golden add green chili slitted n curry leaves.Now add turmeric powder n saute for 30 sec.

Add cooked rice n salt and mix it properly.

Turn off flame n add lemon jiuce,mix it…

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
