Tomato Leafy Chutney

This one well goes with dosa,bread,roti n poori…


1 medium onion

3 medium tomatoes

10 peanuts

8-10 curry leaves

3 green chili

2 big garlic cloves

1 inch ginger piece

1/2 cup pudina leaves

1/2 cup coriander leaves

5-6 cloves of tamarind(seedless)

1 tsp oil

1/4 turmeric powder

1/4 tsp cumin seeds

salt to taste

pudina leaf for garnishing


Heat oil,add cumin seeds.

When it start splutter,add peanuts n fry it.

Now add chopped onion,green chili,ginger,garlic,tamarind.

Saute for 2-3 min.

Add tomatoes,curry leaves,pudina leaves n stir for 5 min.

Finally add turmeric powder,salt,coriander leaves n saute till tomatoes are little dry.

Make it cool down n make a smooth paste.

Garnish with pudina leaf.
