Dal Pulusu(Andhra Dish)

This is a andhra curry well goes with rice…


1 medium tomato

1 inch garlic

1 big garlic clove

1tsp black pepper

1/4 cup tuar dal soaked

1/2 cup moong dal soaked n then boiled

1 cup curd

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

2 tsp oil

1 string of curry leaves

1 tsp pancha phoran

1 whole red chili

salt to taste



Grind to a smooth paste adding tomato,ginger,garlic,tuar dal n balack pepper with water.

Now add this to fry pan n saute for few minute till the raw smell of dal gone,add turmeric powder n salt.

Add boiled moong dal with water n saute for 2 min.

Finally add curd n water. Mix well.

Now heat oil,add panhca phoran n whole red chili with curry leaves.

When mustard seeds start crackle add this to dal mixture.

Serve with rice…
