Winning Recipe…


Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM organized “mirchi maharani” prog in our apartment…which has 4 rounds…for recipe,smartness,talent n fashion…in total got maxium points in 4 rounds

I got title “Rajapushpa Rani” as Apartment name is Rajapushpa

Sharing the recipe which I present in the prog…

First Recipe:      Desi Wonton Cups
Second Recipe: Healthy Smoothy
Third Recipe:     Segdalu

Desi Wonton Cups

Preparation time: 15 min
Baking n Cooking time: 15 min
Serving Persons:  4


For Wonton Cups

Large Spring roll sheets
Cup cake moulds
Oil to coat on sheets n moulds

For Stuffing

1 cup hungcurd
1/2 cup sprouted moong
1 cup chopped (onion,tomato,carrot,cucumber)
1/2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp oil
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp blackpepper powder
Salt to taste

For Decoration

4 Paneer Slices


1/4 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp red chili flakes
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp oil
Salt to taste

Tomato ketchup n Green chili sauce for garnishing


For Wonton Cups

Apply oil on cup cake moulds n spring roll sheets.
Cut spring roll sheets into 4 parts.So all pieces are in square form shape.
Take one piece n place another piece on it as diamond shape form.
Now place these two pieces inside the cup cake mould so that it will be like a katori or bowl.
Meanwhile preheat ovenat 200’C for 10 min.
Bake these cups for 10 mins.

For stuffing

Heat 1 tsp oil n saute sprouted moong for 2 min n finally add salt n make it cool down.

The idea to make sprouted moong is to keep at the base of cups first n then fill the hungcurd mix.Otherwise it may be soggy from bottom.This idea is given by hubby…thnx to him

Now add all rest ingredients to hung curd n mix well.

Now sprinkle all spices on paneer slices.
Heat oilon a grill pan n keep the paneer slices n grill it for1 min from both sides.

Take wonton cups n fill 1 tvsp sprouted moong on the base n then fill 1 tbsp hung curd mix.

Place paneer slice on one corner of cup…

Garnish with ketchup n green chili sauce.

Believe me its very easy to prepare n ingredients are more but took less time…just on comp day I tried first time n with hope keep for comp…all loved it

Second Recipe

Healthy Smoothy

As summer started…so all are crazy for some cool cool drink…so prepare this

This one also I tried on comp day…


Preparation time : 5 min
Serving Persons  : 4


1 cup hung curd
1 tbsp honey
1/2 cup grinded biscuits
1/2 cup chopped fruits(apple n guava)
1/2 tbsp chopped dryfruits(cashewnut,almond,pistachio)
1 tbsp pomegranate seeds


Take hung curd n whisk it properly to make a smooth paste.
Add honey to this n mix well.
Now take any glass n keep hungcurd mix at base.
Now on this fill grinded biscuits.
Then chopped fruits.Again fill hungcurd mix.
And on top garnish with dryfruits n pomegranate seeds.
Keep in freeze for 1 hrs n serve chilled…

This one I prepared in last 20 min, husband told to cancel it…but I said lets try…finally did it


1 cup sooji(proportion can be 1/2 cup sooji n 1/2 cup rice flour or 1 cup rice flour or 1 cup rice)
2 cups water
2 tsp seasme seeds
2 tsp chanadal
1 tbsp moongdal
1 tsp hing
2 tsp red chilly powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
2-3 green chillies chopped
1/4 cup chopped coriander leaves
2 tsp oil
salt accoding to taste

1tbsp seasme seeds for garnishing

Oil for deep frying


1.Take all the above ingredients except oil in a big bowl.
2.Stir it properly.
3.Turn on the gas and stir all the ingredients in a slow flame till
it becomes a soft dough.
4.Turn off gas and make it cool down,
5.Take little oil in a palm and take small portions of dough and make  small balls.
6.On a plate take 1tsp seasme seeds and spread over the plate.
7.keep 5-6 balls on tha plate and roll them on plate so that all  seasme seeds coat on the balls.
8.In this way make the rest dough.
9.Now roll the seasme seeds balls and make like bangles as shown in   the picture.
10.Heat oil and deep fry all the segdalus. will take 3-4 min.






12.Serve hot…
