Mango Rice

It has same flavour like lemon rice but it retains the taste of raw tangy mango…

Preparation Time 1 min
Cooking.       Time 10 min
Serving Persons    3

Ingredients

2 cup cooked rice
1 tbsp+1/2 tsp grated raw mango
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp udad daal
1 whole red chili broken into pieces
A pinch of asafetida
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp peanuts
4 to 6 cashew nuts
1 tsp oil
1 tsp+1/2 tsp ghee
2 green chili slitted
10 to 12 curry leaves
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
salt to taste

For Garnishing
Raw mango slice n some stripes

Procedure

Heat oil n  1 tbsp ghee, add peanuts n fry it till it roasted.

Then add cashew nuts till golden brown.

Add all tadka spices, when mustard seeds start crackle add green chili n curry leaves.

Now add 1tbsp grated mango n saute it for few min till it properly cooked.

Now add salt n turmeric powder with rice n mix well for 2 min.

Finally add coriander leaves n rest grated mango+ghee to this.

Enjoy the Mango Rice…
